bird photography : tri-colored heron

Like many of the birds at Fort De Soto Park, the Tri-colored Heron pictured here let John approach them so closely he couldn't frame their entire bodies within his camera lens.  Having backed off sufficiently to photograph the entire bird, John caught this one in a bit of a 'bad hair' moment in the morning breeze.
