bird photography : european starling

Though the summer plumage of the European Starling can be quite striking, these birds are quite the pests. Introduced in an attempt to bring every bird mentioned in Shakespeare to North America, Starlings have multiplied in vast numbers and have driven away Bluebirds, Purple Martins, Tree Swallows, and many other species.
