bird photography : white-breasted nuthatch

This White-Breasted Nuthatch was too intent on digging a morsel from the tree to notice John's approach, yielding several nice photos in the quickly-fading light of early evening at Huntley Meadows. John's whiteface cockatiel, Locke, idolizes the nuthatch and will be quite pleased to have a pinup of this one.
