bird photography : cooper's hawk

I just happened to glance out the living room window and spy this young Cooper's Hawk perched atop our backyard fence on a dreary February morning.  He remained incredibly bold, staying put and letting me approach to within a few feet as I took photo after photo of him and his breakfast.
